So what do people think of Thaidays comment? Some comments I have read have said people are blowing this up into nothing whilst others have been quite critical. My observation is that those who are most critical are by far indigenous and therefore in the best position to comment.

I don't agree with what he did, but his making fun of the Chinese accent not Asian so it's not racist.

Besides my point you don't see people go up in arms when someone does a white man accent or a w0g accent.

You want real racism, go to China.

This isnt Gil, it's one of the games most proactive Indigenous players on indigenous issues. As he says, there will always be some issues, but fans are taking a stand, with most of the AFL's issues being reported by other fans. Any examples of this happening in the NRL?

actually there was a racist incident last year in the NRL where a number of people in the crowd hurled racist insults at a player, and no one in the crowd reported it other than a player's relative.

So try again

Just because your sport is a putrid cesspit of racism don't try to associate RL with it as a deflection. Move on pal. I won't be responding to further deflections. Fix up your own stinking sport's racism problems before naming others.
