What a fantastic match last night. The Titans will one of the sides to beat this year, though you could probably say that about a dozen NRL teams

How did the Suns go last night?? Or should I say how many did they get lapped by. :(/ :(/ :(/

Suns had a shocker. They are mid range I reckon and will upset a few teams and lose some they should win etc. injuries impacted the Suns last night with their first 3 backline players out and it showed. So will be interesting to see how the season progresses but form will impact crowds for both teams such is the nature of things... especially on the Gold Coast. Suns are playing some big drawing crowds however I thought crows would draw more alas not to be.

But but but but but but but but
We've been told repeatedly how the Thuns are bigger than the Titans
How RL is dying on the Gc
How AFL has taken over .
Blah blah .
Lol I love when reality sets in

Not sure what your on about here with the but buts. Has been a decent conversation on comparison of the two and I have even said I think the titans may just scrape in a win. Soooo not sure where all that has come from as think I have been balanced around the crowd debate. If not always at least in regard to this bet.

The fact that the averages are so close in rl heartland is either a good thing for suns and AFL or a bad thing for the titans. Not for the nrl per se as Gold Coast is rl heartland just that many follow other nrl teams without the secondary loyalty to the titans.

In saying that winners are grinders and if either team shows winning form locals will jump on them. Whilst this is good what each team needs is a large rusted on support that stays through good times and bad.

Will be interesting to see crowds going forward. The thing that will help the Suns will be Collingwood. If they can get another sell out like last time pies played that will help their average.

So where we at on this? Anyone have the averages for each team at home ? I saw the titans got 10500 abouts last game so should be close.

13219 I believe for titans at home this year.

13370 for the suns

It is neck and neck with the suns holding the slimest of leads.

Geez crapper there is not too bad a crowd here tonight. Hard to say but I'm guessing above 16000 or there abouts anyway. This bet is looking interesting... suns should further their lead but it's a long season.

12509 last night at Robina. That will bring the average down. It's going to be an interesting race to see who gets the highest average crowd this year on the GC. Both are pretty average crowds.

So you still as confident of that win crapper?

I thought it would have been the titans well in front at this stage. Suns have pies coming up soon so will be interesting to see the crowd for this.

You've seemed to have lost interest crapper?

For what it is worth I think the suns are really struggling at the moment and may be at the cross roads. There is something really wrong at the club I feel ... more a culture thing. With Ablett going and May looking the same, I think there are some real troubles ahead off the feild.
