Friday night got 33k in Sydney just this week. Population of 7million+ and only 33k lol now that is a disaster.

One thing you did not address pies is the 30k for Friday night in Melbourne for NRL on friday night? When you compare that to Sydney and brisbane AFL ratings it makes AFL look like they are failing big time in QLD and NWS.

Perth have watched 12 NRL games at an average of 8k. And no team no coverage till 2012 no advertising Nice try Xman

Melbourne have watched 11 NRL games at an average of 18k, and they have their own team on top of the ladder! No coverage till 2012 no advertising 1 team

Sydney have watched 20 AFL games at an average of 39k, plus foxtel ratings. Their average would be well over 50k. They average 54k when the swans are playing, again with foxtel ratings probably producing another 30k.30+ years in the AFL, 30+ years Coverage and 2 teams as of 2012

Brisbane have watched 19 games at an average of 40k, plus foxtel ratings, which would add at least 10-20k. Coverage for 16 years and 2 teams as of 2011 3 Flags

Going by population, per million:

- Perth watch NRL at 4.4k (No team No coverage)

- Melbourne watch NRL at 4.5k(1 Team no coverage at all till 2012)

- Sydney watch AFL at 8.7k with foxtel ratings making it closer to 13k. The swans would rate 18k per million. (30+ years coverage, 30+ year in the AFL 1 Flag 2005, 2 teams as of 2012 FAIL)

- Brisbane/GC watch AFL at 16k with foxtel ratings making it closer to 22k. (Coverage since 1996 1 team in comp from 1996, 3 Flags 2 teams since 2011. FAIL)

Somehow I think the AFL is well ahead of the NRL in non heartland ratings.
