How can NRL reduce the size of a stadium they don't even own. Just remember AFL couldn't even get the Kiwis to watch an AFL match past half time last time they played in New Zealand. Everyone left early :_<>
And how is AFL England going with it's 400 Facebook likes =D>
Not to mention the AFL world cup flop that no tv network wanted
And the last two AFL grand finals being one sided fizzes, apparently making the game even more boring. Is that even possible :_<>
As for Rugby League dominance, do you think Australia wasn't dominant in the cricket over England for a decade?? Tides always turn in sports, except with AFL which can't even compete in it's own world cup :<>
the AFL has never claimed to be a world game.
well its been 100 plus years since league was stated and is still a minnow world game, and is only played in countries where union is played in. & it still a very distant behind union in those countries.
even with all the help of union, league is still not that popular, the Rl world cup sums it up Australia winning the last 7 or 8 & even with more of the players being Australian based.
the NRL struggled to sell out a fair few grand finals since ANZ wsas build, so maybe that why they dropped the capacity

Well take membership, revenue, crowds, week to week ratings and coverage. Now what about the official app download, can you tell me the result there, you know the one where you can actually watch the football. AFL lightyears ahead there
those where already posted, ill have to find the articles, it showed the AFL app was more than twice as popular, downloaded and payed subscribers.
take what ever you want the NRL are decades behind the AFL

There 2 best international players just left the sport because they wanted to play in a real world cup lol That is the true indication of its impact away from these shores. The AFL has no want to embarrass itself by proclaiming an international presence, its quite happy to be the dominant code in the place of its birth

Haha dominant in just four states of one country. Such a huge accomplishment. Kind of like winning the AFL world cup :_<>
Lots of NRL players do other sports. AFL players are too stupid to be able to compete in any other sport. They know they would last too seconds in an NRL game with there girly pushes and terrible coordination
Rugby League is an athletes games while AFL is a ********* game!!!

An athletes game lol Now ive heard everything. George Rose, Tony Williams and Jamal Idris say hello. Just ask K. Hunt what is the most athletic game he has played. In his own words"I haven't got the genetics to play the game" And last time I looked 4 is a bigger number than 2. AFL bigger than league in this country, every indicator says this but hey you have facebook likes lol

Yes I did play Rugby League, was great fun because I usually got to run over pussies like you :_<>
Quite amusing at how much of an inferiority complex you have with how terrible AFL is doing at gaining international respect, it just is not working for you at all is it lol
Come on keep trying tool, you might get a point for missing all the time :_<>

You really struggle in the brain cell dept. young man.If Im not mistaken its the rugby codes who are known to stick eachothers heads up eachothers arses thus my username. You do seem like a scary tough individual so let me know when I should start to panic young keyboard ninja lol How many times do you need to hear that the AFL has never worried about an international presence,we have all stated this but you continually use this as a point of reference as though you have a point. Its called a strawman but I wouldn't expect you to know that. The reality is your international presence is farcical and you run a distant second in the Country where you game is most powerful. So instead of making ridiculous statements address the matters at hand but im sure this will be answered with a few funny pictures and a completely irrelevant statement.I look forward to your underwhelming response

and.....soccer is the national sport of san marino
praise jesus
LIC makes an interesting point that i never thought of before, in almost every country where rugby league co-exists with rugby union, more often or not, union is the more popular of the two - often by a long way
the only country that i can think of that bucks that trend is australia
