even though we have wealthy owners, the clubs accumulatively still lose a lot of money every year. the deficit for 2012-13 i think it was $20 million across the league with only 2 or 3 clubs making a small profit

$4-6 million of that was my own club but i guess that's the benefit of having a rich owner

on the flip side we cant keep running at a deficit. it just isn't healthy but all the clubs are making big steps forward to reduce that.

melbourne victory are the best run club as they have made a profit in every year of their existence hence why they are looking at a significant price tag for their club

what is wrong with pokes?, its fact that no club in the NRL no club would even exist with out the amounts of league clubs poke/gaming revenue they own! they have almost no other revenue
