Can NRL's 2 lowest ratings Teams
Sharks v Raiders
beat
Collingwood v Carlton in the Tv ratings tonight
with Collingwood being AFL's Highest rating team, it would be a hard stretch.

Ratings should be good in AFL states - the two non-AFL states- who knows? And as we only get FTA ratings - we will never know - can't even guess as to foxtel as has changed so much since last year.

FOX is dropping reports quarterly so we should get a really good idea soon.
You recan AFL can make up the 100k odd per game on FOX each week on the NRL ?
just by adding some exclusive games per week ... be interesting
its a big number to chase down.

I have no idea but would be interesting to know - I would think the loss for fta would possibly be made up at least

When NRL went from Exclusive on Ch9 and than went to Simulcast for example.
FOX ate into the coverage on ch9
so would most likely expect a chunk for sure..
what we are seeing this year is CH9 coverage is up on last year. (which is making ch7 coverage look slightly worse.
FOX figures from Last season below.
figures for FOX averages (includes streaming)
NRL 483,000 per match.
AFL 397,000 per match

That was the highest Thursday AFL result of the year and up 140k on last week.
The NRL featuring a last minute win to Canberra against the Sharks was down 75k from last week’s game to 575k.

Of course this is just free to air - you'd expect the fox/kayo numbers to be boosted given the move across for many to that platform.
