Raider, stop being so childish and answer the question. What are the NRL doing about their game in other countries? Instead of ignoring TLPG, I suggest you provide some information to support your point of view.
for starters PAL.... the NRL doesn't have anything to do with international RL

its the ARL
as part of the RLIF ... Rugby League International Federation
they have 12 federation member countries with another 50 odd who aren't members but are involved in the game at the international level , & govern the game at the international level .... World Cup .. 4 nations , pacific cup ... european cup or atlantic cup with includes the USA

heres their website
http://rlif.com/index.php

I'll debate anyone who is balanced & will take a reasonable approach on a topic .. but what we have in here are , peanuts like TPLG with their heads so far up their @sses they can't see anything .. won't concede anything even when faced with overwhelming factual evidence & won't listen to anyone & reasonable discussion is not possible
& we get what we have been having
me taking the mickey out of the poor unfortunate simpleton & his mate .. G@yfl Warrior

so save the lectures buddy
I give as good as is given .... how bout some suggestions for TPLG now ?

I'd like to also confess. This is also the only reason I call TLPG names. Deep down I'm really quite a nice guy  It's just hard not to call him names when you produce factual evidence and he simply states it as untrue. He hurt my feelings too many times that mean, nasty peanut :(

You haven't provided a scrap of factual evidence. How the heck can I check that link when I don't know your real name, huh? You know that which makes your attempt to present facts transparent as FIFA's bribery BS.

Get lost.

As for you Raider Dave, you refuse to understand AFL and just how strong it is. I'll take apart your links at a later point with facts right back at you, including proof that the ARL doesn't care about the non member countries.

Actually I think he makes a point. He is talking about the level of professionalism at the international level TLPG.

Now I dont know what you think but numerous countries play Rugby League at a fairly high and professional level. AFL doesnt.
The Rugby League world cup is a farce. Even the players suggested as much last year. Look at the countries competiting and results. What a joke of a tournament.

Can't you read? If the International Cup was like that we wouldn't be doing cartwheels. We'd be wondering what was wrong!!

TLPG I'm not trying to prove to you that I played for the Flying Dutchman, I'm way past trying to prove to you anything I've done as all you say is "BS". You dont hear me questioning whether you've umpired for 20 yrs.

You wrote "I dont believe you over Amsterdam over Paris" after I wrote we won by more than 100 so I assumed you didnt believe the scoreline as you wrote "Amsterdam over Paris".

If you understood it, the central argument of mine is that AFL o/s is at a very low level...

I agree beaussie I'm not much of a fan of the RL world cup and see it as a bit of a farce as well. Australia England New zealand are the teams to watch.

Even so I think the RL world cup has much more cred than any international AFL comp could be at the moment.

The International Cup snuffs out the RL World Cup because the I Cup has more countries competing. So simple even KE can understand it - if he wants to that is!

Is it on tv? If so What sort of rating numbers does it get? whats the prize money?

The Rugby League world cup, Though not in the same category, is run along the same lines as the soccer world cup meaning that many teams are eliminated in qualifier's and never get to the main stage of the tournament :- follow this links and try and educate yourself a bit.

no it doesn't

our world cup is played by full time professionals from at least 8 countries ... Aust , NZ , Eng , France , PNG .. Wales .. Ireland .. Fiji
all either playing in the NRL or ESL

your international cup is played by postmen ... roadworkers .. supermarket shelve fillers ... shop assistants ... & janitors

they have to get time off work in their holidays to fumble their way around for a week ... its a joke
most wouldn't get a run with the Batemans Bay U18's ( & they're cr@p)

do you have a World cup played by full time professionals ?
you know
Like Soccer , Rugby Union ... Basketball ... Cricket .. Baseball ..
oh .. & one other

oh yeah ... Rugby League
well do ya
do ya punk ?

But you wouldn't know about that would you? The NRL couldn't give a stuff about their grass roots!
News Ltd couldn't, there only concerned about profits. But the people who took over our game are leaving and rugby League will be given back to its rightful owners - the fans.
