Would have got no where near what they did though but yes they have been doing okay in the feild so would expect a rise. Still they were not great given gc is rl heartland. But as i have said crowd size is a poor measure of popularity for rl ... exception would be broncos soo and gf.

Why the Titans have never in their history had under 15k for a Warriors home game so stop with the bs excuses, I said last week before Hayne was even mentioned when they got 15k against Cronulla on a monday night that they would get over 20k, and they did.

Well the coach and ceo comnented that it was a massive boost and contrubuted to the massive crowd. As said 10000 tickets sold after the announcement and all corporate sold out. Also radio commentators stating how much the titans needed the hayne boost. But yes lots of kiwis on gc so would have been a better crowd as they go to support warriors but hayne added a lot. I would doubt 20000 would have went though had hayne not played. Ad said 10000 tickets sold after tge announcement but we will never know. What we do know is that 25000 did turn up. Would be foolish to deny haynes influence in that given every comment i have heard from thise educated in rl point directly to hayne as a massive boost for club from crowds to spobsorship to even possibly being able to be sold. Any way you want to look at it it is all good news for titans.

I think the fact they are even close is amazing given it is a rl town. Problem is other nrl clubs are popular over the titans but if they win people tend to jump on board.

14,397 Titans
13,370 Suns so far
A thousand up to the titans. Should be interesting with the pies playing at gc although thought Adelaide would have been a bigger crowd.

I agree, the titans will disappear from the sporting landscape unable to stop blowing millions , the life support will be turned off.

Well with the suns getting more to their game and having the money of the AFL behind them (and a competent administration at that) the titans better start improving both on and off the feild.
