Well, unless you can access Foxtel ratings for Melbourne anyway.
Raiders V Storm
Brumbies V Rebels
all both on pay ... on the 2 occasions they played in 2012
no Sydney sides .. or QLD sides playing .....larger then normal audience in Melb & Canb for obvious reasons for both codes

It's well known that nRL is more popular than real rugby in NSW and QLD, but not in Victoria and the ACT however. Once you get tv audiences for both codes in those regions you can't rely on national tv audiences, that's bloody moronic!
ACT Brumbies crowds > Raiders crowds.
Melbourne Rebels crowds > Storm crowds.

who said this you half witted peanutSo because no NSW or QLD side was playing, this blocks out NSW and QLDers from watching does it?
they'd also watch the yawnion as well
I said more Canberrans & Melbournians would watch these games for obvious reasons
I'd say 5 to 10% of the entire audiences would be from these 2 cities ... leaving 80 to 90% for the rest of the country
proving beyond doubt ... that RL is more popular by a mile .. in both cities
