I don't know what happened to this club you linked. It appears that they tried to start an Under 12 team but I guess they didn't maintain the interest **** the Aboriginal kids. If I have time I'll follow that up.
My theory is that there is no interest in the game in the area. Seems that after all that time is that if there was genuine interest in the game they would have the posts by now but it appears that they can't even get the kids involved.

That's what I think, and it's why I don't believe that "stolen goal posts" story.

The reason why there hasn't been any interest between the 1980's and now is because the interest was killed off by the thefts. Anyone who remained interested was forced elsewhere - most likely to Tathra because it's the closest.

Yes I do believe it. If you don't that's your problem. This shows your lack of vision - typical of a stubborn mule.

Posts get stolen. So what? Mark said it. What vision does it take?

Neither of you have vision AKA the bigger picture. You're just looking at it as stolen goal posts. It's a lot more than that. It's constantly having to fork out for replacements. It's constantly calling on the council to provide the venue to begin with. It's a domino effect. Get it now?

I remember when someone stole the basketball hoop off our school courts. It's been almost 30 years now and not one basketball has bounced there since. Interest just completely dropped and those who were interested in basketball quit their jobs, packed up their houses and moved on outta there.
Yes LG, you've got the bigger picture, nice thinkin.

Way to blow it well beyond what I was talking about, idiot. Why quit your job and pack up and move when there's another place to play 18 K's down the road?

And why didn't these so called thieves follow them and continue?
Because it never happened to begin with.

It would be nice if this thread got back on topic. Any news about the online rights for NRL??
