Ah no, it represents the ethnic groups that play RL, with almost 50% coming from one region, the pacific islands. Yet Benji Marshall was recently racially abused, as was Sam Thaiday. How is this an increase in tolerance for the ethnic groups that are well represented in the code, let alone all those that are not? :-k
These incidents are occurring 'outside' the NRL. The AFL incidents are occurring 'within' the organisation. Big difference dimwit. Racism is rife in Australia and this is not the NRL's issue but the government's. The NRL's multiculural makeup makes it a more tolerant organisation, as I've argued all along. :)

Just by the by, who's the Irishman in the Canterbury photo? There's one in the Swans photo!
There's probably an englishmen an irishman, a scotsman and a welshman in the canterbury photo TLPG. As there prob would be in the AFL pic. But the NRLs reach goes further than this, doesnt it. :)

As for your first paragraph, ahh you dont make no sense. "Proof lies in skin colour"? Care to quote where I made that claim peanut?

Oh, so when one of the NSW SOO coaches used racist language against a racial group on the opposition, forcing a player on his own team to storm out? What was that?

Yes there are examples which are out of the ordinary in the NRL. In the AFL racist behaviour is becoming the ordinary. And this, this is because its not an organisation which can be said to be ethnically diverse. The level of tolerance in the AFL appears to be quite low. Fancy calling for players to have atleast one white parent. Fancy that eh, in this day and age. [-X

Hmmm, AFL racist incidents? Such as? :-k

I have given clear examples of racism in the NrL, from coaches and players within the game, to fans.

Need we list the incidents again Xman? And need we continue to read your ignorant reference to the perpetrators excuses that their remarks were 'taken out of context'? A large percent of racists sincerely believe they are not racist and will always claim their comments were mistaken. It's the old, "I'm not racist but.." attitude, and you condone it Xman. Shame on you [-X

ID them then.

You have constantly pushed the Pacific Islanders, who have dark skin. You totally ignore the rest of Europe. That's the proof right there.

AFL's reach is further than NRL's. 51 countries for the AFL. How many for the NRL? With names?

Ah stop dribbling shite over the page TLPG. I have consistently referred to italian, lebanese, greek and other ethnic groups playing in the NRL throughout this thread. You're deluded. Additionally I've noted that there's countless players from the UK playing in the NRL, but considering these nations have been immigrating to Australia for more than 200 years now along with their cultural similarity amongst themselves and with mainstream Australia, I appropriately view these nations as less relevant to what the ideal of multiculturalism in Australia is and should be.

I agree the AFL has recruited predominantly players whose ethnic background sits within the UK. Whether they were born in africa and elsewhere does not alter their ethnic background so as i said earlier TLPG the magic number of 51 you've found is completely irrelevant.

This statement could only have been made by an ignorant cultural bigot.

The 51 countries represented in the history of the AFL is very much relevant. You're only trying to undermine it with cheap meaningless twaddle because the NRL can't match those numbers!

Admit it!

TLPG seriously, you look like a complete tool here. Anyone who suggests that a group of folk who are around 90% anglo is a culturally diverse mob is deluded more than paulin hanson. Did you vote for her?

And you have the hide to call me a 'cultural bigot'?

Prove that it's 90 percent Anglo. Oh that's right - you can't.

You're the Pauline Hanson supporter, not me. Cultural bigot.

What list?

A recruiter expressing concern and raising awareness of possible future ramifications of a lack of action is not racism.

Raider listed something like a hundred incidents just a few months back. Need we go over the same old story. There's clearly a problem there and unfortunately those who ignore racism simply perpetuate it. You're one of ... those guys Xman [-X

Interesting how you're ignoring the NRL racism thread now there has been another racism incident in the NRL in the last week. [-X

The NRL clearly has a far greater problem with racism. It really is very concerning. So much for the benefits of a greater percentage of players from non anglosaxon ethic groups! [-(

Xman, there's no such list. Just for the record.
