You are imputing that tackling of all sorts is legal in footy. Nope - that's thugby talk!

Me = good tackler, not bad one.

If you are driving players into the turf then you are a bad tackler - and downright dangerous.

And you can't swallow it. Truth is - you are a liar and won't admit that driving a player into the turf is a bad tackle that should be penalised and reported. Whether or not they are counted in stats in irrelevant.

Oh dear. This highlights the lunacy of TLPG and Xman. Tackling is illegal they say What planet are you two from? I sure hope we never see the day tackling becomes illegal in the AFL comp. They've already outlawed many physical elements of the game, with disastrous consequences i.e. jumper punching, shoulder charging injured players as they leave the field etc... and do we really wanna see touch or tag marngrook being played out there?

Oh I forgot a good old fashioned general shove to the ground when the ball isn't around - I pinging a player for that in a ruck contest just yesterday! (Just by the way all of those tackles are legal in thugby!)

TLPG you've completely misread the context of my completely legal tackling. To bring a man down one often will drive a player into the ground you silly peanut. I could show countless videos showing just that TLPG. And Xman well, it looks as though you completely believe tackling is illegal in marngrook.

You said "tackling=legal" which means all tackling without exception. So yes, I don't think know you know what illegal tackling is. Any video you produce is bound to NOT show a player "driven" into the turf - unless it was penalised which it should have been.

Needed to be said, and as of now unless you produce a video of YOU playing the game I will ignore any reference to said playing. As it stands, I don't believe you do now nor have you ever.

You silly goose. When one says tackling is legal it means just exactly what it says. Now stop adding words to try and make yourself look like you're in control here. You're not in control, you've lost the handle completely adding words here and there "without exception". Now here's some video of AFL matches, umpired by an AFL umpire with much more experience than you have there TLPG. Have a look and tell me these player werent "driven into the turf".

I think we have four examples of players getting driven into the turf in this first video. And who gets the penalty? The tackler!

In this beauty you can hear the commentators saying he "drives him into the ground" and incorrectly say "the AFL is trying to eliminate these tackles". TLPG must listen to commentators more than he watches the sport. The umpire says "play on" the tribunal voted this tackle to be a fair tackle :D

Now unless you provide some video footage of yourself umpiring I, and I urge others should, completely disregard your claims of umpiring status. As you clearly dont know what is and what is not an illegal tackle in the game. TLPG, pick up your act!
