Wrong. 22% down according to Wookie, and he's always correct. It's been a very odd start to the year with the split round. It will be interesting to see if it recovers. If it doesn't I'd say they won't start the season with a split round with no major stadiums again

They were well above the last round so the stadiums were certainly an issue for the first round. Fact is the first few rounds are usually loaded with big matchups to kick the season off. Having an opening round where only smaller stadiums were available meant it contained no big matches, and suffered accordingly. This round still averaged over 35k a game with games in 5 states. I can't say I'm concerned about that.

I think it'll take a number of rounds to recover from the very low opening round.

& whats more

that's as big as it will get for the Victorian game & the Swines in Sydney this year

while the 410K for the NRL
is an average Friday for our game in the harbour city

wait til we get some real big clashes later on in the year
