Our 3 PTV games totalled 811K. There 6 PTV totalled 808k

Wow!!!!! The fumbling game is officially in free fall!!! The NRL Fox average was double.....yep double.....the AFL. FTA for the fumblers added only another 389k. That's 1.197m for 6 games!!! Add in Friday and you're up to 2.2m for 7 games. #Crisis.

The last desperate ploy of the defeated
Try to compare FTA ratings with STV ratings .

Why not compare RL Thurs night....to AFL Sat night .

No worries pal. So at the end of the round we'll add up the raw numbers - just like Wookie used to do - and see who comes out on top in aggregate & average. Good to see ya coming around!!!!

Sure. Add those raw numbers up, then multiply ours by 1.5 given that's how much longer our telecasts go for.

Most watched is a title im comfotable with

I never dismissed it at all, i explained why.

The AFL has 15 hours of TV on Saturdays compared to the NRLs 6. If you dont think that should be factored in to 'most watched' youre an imbecile

They're only worth what the networks are willing to pay. If they paid us more they value the product more overall which includes all your mega popular rep games.

Fair dinkum pal, your stupidity has once again become tiresome. I have been trying to put up with your mad professor theories & lame duck excuses but it's time you toddled off to the jungle with all ya mates and had a spell pal.

How many times can we hear the same innane excuses and rationalising of a losing position? Round and round we go again and again and again.

Fact is this year, more than any in memory, the AFL is tanking in the tv ratings and on the nose for multiple racial, sexual harrasment & drug trafficking atrocities. And the game itself is getting smashed by it's own due to it's bog ugly nature. Suck it up pal. Stop making excuses. Take it like a man.

Your game sucks!!!!! If ya can't take it off to the jungle ya go!!!!!

You are the one who has tried to apply the theory of hrs..AFL games go longer so ratings should be multiplied by1.5.

It's absurd .
Totally absurd ...tell me ..are ratings averaged over those 3 hrs
& averaged over 2 for RL
If so
Your theory is like most other crap you post ...absolute rot .

Its not a theory, its fact. A program is watched 'more' if it rates with similar numbers but goes for longer.

If the NRLs 3 games or 6 hrs of TV on Saturday rate 200k each on stv they total 600k. The AFLs 2 games shown at the same time over 6 hours could also rate 200k but end up with a cumulative total of only 400k. Yet the same size audience watched TV over the same 6 hours. Its a misleading result. The way to adjust for this disparity is multiply the AFL audience by 1.5 which then accurately reflects the same audience size watched both 6 hours of TV.

Thats the way to accurately demonstrate 'most watched'
