Hmm, interesting old thread from Jackyboy.
Giants appear to be finals bound in 2015. Crowds and members will no doubt follow.

When Jackyboy posted this on August 2, 2014, a caravan of rubbish from the usual trash factories followed.
Now, after Round 8 2015, and with the Giants enjoying a win-loss ratio of 6-2, those posts appear ridiculous.
There's a lesson to be learned here: If you don't write with honesty and integrity now, it can catch up with you later and make you look very silly indeed.

When the young Giants ran onto the oval for their first game at AFL level, Round 1, 2012, seventeen of them were debutantes.
They were mostly teenagers from the 2011 draft.
Of course they weren't going to win much in the club's early years! Most top-8 sides have an average age of 25, 26 or 27 years! The club's coaches knew from the outset the climb up the ladder would be long, slow and painful.
But ultimately REWARDING.
Last weekend they enjoyed their 6th win in 2015 over AFL powerhouse Adelaide Crows. And their average age last Saturday?
23 years 180 days!

And still have a lot of growing ahead in the next 2-4 years.
They will be awesome!!

They could win the AFL premiership 5 times in a row and they will still have less than half the fans of the newer Wanderers football team.
Western Sydney just don't give two shits about AFL or the Giants. Sydney barely even noticed the Swans were in it last year. Can't even remember if they won.

So it will still be more than Canberra, West Tigers, Gold Coast Titans, New Zealand and Cronulla!!!!! Oh dear so by that analysis the same is true for those five!!
