I like SoO - don't watch it much but will flick and if nothing on will have a look - but the build up in QLD is pretty amazing. It's the whole small dick syndrome - beating big brother etc. I do agree though that if you had other states playing it it wouldn't have as much interest. Today, courier mail full of soccer - roar are in Grand final.

No. I just looked at the Yahoo7 TV Guide and it's being shown on GEM - starting at 12:10am.
Disgraceful effort by the Nine Network. Have it on GEM by all means, but it should be live.

the bit what more bumsniffers don't understand, that its state vs state, qld vs NSW, all people watch it to see if their state can beat the other state

Like I said I don't care - you can have SOO celebrate it and enjoy it - but it's still not SOO because you don't necessarily play for where you come from. If you like it that way then fine - what I think doesn't matter but why so you RL posters get so upset when the obvious is mentioned? ????? AFL doesn't have SOO and it doesn't effect me one way or the other because it's not important!

I was referring to last night's Test match, not State of Origin. My reference was to the TV Guide in Adelaide, if you would just pay attention to this thread's subject.
