You're missing my point. The general assertion has been made that the Storm's debt has been going up and up steadily. In 2009 it has been proven that it did not, and that is a financial success. Viability over the long term is yet to be established due to ownership changes resulting in part from the salary cap breaches. Past experience suggests that if the NRL felt it was not a financially viable club they would shut it down. This - as I have said before about the Rams in particular - would be a mistake, but regardless the NRL has made no move to shut them down.
no. the only club that is financially viable in the NRL is the broncos. if they went with the reason why the storm was not financially viable, shut them down, every other club in the NRL would be shut down. the only thing that makes a nrl club viable are their leagues clubs

If you took that line half the AFL clubs, including the Western Bulldogs, would also be shut down. I don't think you know what constitutes financially not viable.

20 000 maybe be good for nrl but is in the lower end for AFL generally. I would hope for a game that comes into town once or twice a year they maybe would have wanted more but would be happy with that I guess just. They'd be having gws type crowds if played regularly ... If they were losing . You get a team wining in Perth and you'll get Hugh crowds . Got to put a team there first.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport ... -in-perth/

Despite the double injury blow, the Rabbitohs ran in five tries in the final 21 minutes to secure the come-from-behind win in front of 20,267 fans.

lets recap shall we
fumblers claim no interest in Perth for RL based on an attendance at one game that was played in a monsoon
leaguies show this as a failure on their part with record attendance at NIB for last nights game in Perth
Adumb bum liar soaked with metho tells leaguies they are wrong with actual attendance being much lower
leaguies point out he has the wrong game
bubble boy phelpys jumps on adumb bum liars bandwagon & repeats mistake made by our metho swilling fucktard Adumb

have I got that all correct there folks ? :-k

is there no limit to the ability of fumblers to ... fail .... on these pages

is there

12,014 for the NRL in Perth on the weekend. It seems the more games you showcase in Perth, the more the people of WA turn off it. Novelty factor clearly over.

Apparently even GEM/Channel 9 have even dumped NRL tv coverage in Perth. Can't blame em really, anyone noticed the tv ratings for NRL in Perth. Abysmal comes to mind.

Hey Dave Smith, you still talking up a team based in Perth? #-o

Postby cos789 » Mon Mar 31, 2014 11:42 am

This game was heavily promoted in Perth as the clash of two premier teams.
Novelty factor definitely waning.

& that was just page 1.
