Saw a golden point game between the storm and whoever this year at AAMI. Both sides had multiple shots form 25-40m out from basically straight in front. Not only did neither team score, most shots didn't make the distance or were so wide they wouldn't have registered a score in the AFL.

This is the closest comparison I've seen for kicking at goal under pressure.

AFL appears to havemore for a,player to do... Kicking handball tackle mark rub and bounce etc but that is not toay the sa theyy are better skilled, soccer has less to do but lots of skill

Again it appears you have to criticise another sport to feel happy with your own - I think RL requires very good skills to play - so does AF but there not comparable - RU however is so who has the greater skill set for me it's RL which is demonstrated by the fact that SBW and Issy can be so good so quickly.

True many RU players switched to RL and were successful but I think RL requires a lot more power where as RU requires more aerobic capacity - muscle takes longer to get where as aerobic capacity can get far quicker. For that reason I think for both sports very similar games (in many respects) for that reason I think RL are superior.
