RL will have about 160,000 people attend games at Wembley & Old Trafford in the next few weeks
next Feb over 2 days 60,000 to 80,000 will attend a mickey mouse RL 9's tournament in Auckland

3 more sellouts will attend SOO in 2014
60,000 tipped for the opening game of the NRL next Year .. Souths V the Roosters Thursday March 6th ANZ stadium & over 200,000 predicted for the first round

It's ok, RL might not get 70-80-90k crowds every day of the week, at least when they do get them, they're spread out a little further than just the MCG :>::

And that has what to do with soccer becoming the second biggest football code in Australia? Also, if you want to compare your international crowds to soccer I think soccer does a bit better just quietly

don't even think about the final crowd to be honest. guarunteed 73k+ sell out.

question for me is how will wembley go??? that's gonna be very interesting i think, 60-70k would be amazing there. if it's a showdown of England vs NZ or Australia 80k is not impossible. Tonga might be the 4th team i reckon.... maybe.

60,000 sold as of a few days ago apparently.. still 2 weeks to go til this game so I'd say 70,000 will be achieved
England V New Zealand will be one semi almost certainly as Australia can't play either of these 2 as they are on the opposite side of the draw
Australia V ?? ... I'll say Italy as a dark horse

only a few thousand left at Manchester .. they'll be snapped up in 10 minutes if England beat the kiwis for the Nov 30 final
& its capacity is 75,721 ....

I don't think you are Dave ... Rl is clearly a bigger sport internationally. Stating otherwise is as stupid as stating that AFL is not the number one football code in Australia or soccer is not the biggest international sport.

If you haven't noticed sook, this thread hasn't really talked about the a leaguie since the first page, it's just turned into another AFL rules everywhere in Australia rant from the likes of you.

I put those pics in simply because you and your clown mates were saying AFL only get big crowds compared to RL, I was pointing out that RL gets big crowds too, and they are spread further than just the MCG.

Of course it's impossible to prove, your lot don't have the international teams to start with
