terrific contest & a great opening to the 14th RLWC
Australia 28-20
the poms were as good as I've seen them in a very long time & are probably feeling a little hard done by with some dubious calls going against them at vital times
with some improvements re ball control & discipline & some players to come into the squad they will be hard to keep out of the final
the Aussies were slow out of the blocks but got into their groove eventually
the Italians

... were far too strong for the Welsh
32-16
great start
great start =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

It keeps the developing nations OUT of it's WC! That's how! AFL doesn't do that!

What's your point about AFL government funding?

read Raiderdave's posts above, he just got proved wrong about a point so he tries to deflect it on to another topic

Developing in rugby league, you fricking goose!! And the only one there that could be described as developing in your precious little "sport" is the Cook Islands!

are you an idiot nrl crap? no wait, dont answer.
I said, why is RL for the RICH. and you said it keeps developing nations out of its WC. How is that to do with developing RL. people don't say a country is developing and refer to soccer or rugby they say THEY ARE DEVELOPING (the sport) in (the country).

So sue me for engaging in short speak, Phy! It's got PLENTY to do with developing, after all you lot were the ones preaching the importance of rep footy and yet here your sport is DENYING it to the masses. AFL doesn't do that! Everyone's in! It's a PART of the development! No rep sport, development is stunted.
