I'm fairly sure that the AFL grand final has always drawn above 90,000 for years. I'm fairly sure the NRL grand final has always struggled to get out of the 80,000 range.

I have no idea which is the single highest game for ratings. The AFL GF will certainly smash all but one of RL games for attendance that's for sure.
