they actually do not even do it anything like the AFL,

they actually do it very poorly,
and announce separate deals all over the place
like the last deal

Telstra
FTA
FOX
RADIO
NZ
INTERNATIONAL

we all done separately and not packaged.. AMATUER AT ITS BEST
You know it’s only a media release for PR reasons, right?
Not the actual break down of the full financial result!
Oh, so are they lying again makingwitless??? Makes sense. Thanks pal.

AFL tv deal by the numbers.
418mill FOX + 175mill Ch7 = 593mill
So is it safe to say
tv deal has 49mill per year in contra & Telstra (which partial of the amount goes towards Marvel stadium) number unknown.

The number paid to the AFL will not be the same every year, it will vary and be adjusted for inflation.
So nice try

the deal is 4.5 billion over seven years from Foxtel and Seven with Inflation already in deal..

so yes deal will be slightly different year after year to a degree..
do you want to do the sums with inflation and sums.

this scenario is simply dividing the sums... :thumbleft:

:)))

You haven’t seen the contact, something that large would not be the same figure every year. It would be similar to many other contacts where the larger number come in at the back end of the contract as costs increase

i am not stating anything about the contracts, i am giving you a figure of what the deal is worth and what it divides too
on a year to year basis.. (everything points to a big portion of contra and telstra per year..

Wasn’t the contra amount defined when the deal went down?

Your stating increase in revenue is only due to the new tv deal basing on having not seen the break down of numbers or the actual contract.

So basically nothing

NRL does similar things with theres, out of desperation to be as close to the AFL as possible
The NRL is not even close when it comes to revenue. The AFL has already smashed through the $1.2 billion revenue mark last season.

Meanwhile, V’landys hopes the billion dollar mark will be surpassed in a few years to come.

“We are in the best financial position we have ever been,” V’landys said.

“We will surpass $1 billion in the next few years.

“In 2019, we had $555 million in revenue.

Code Sports understands the NRL’s surplus will rise from $62.3 million last year to around $65m this year.

Revenue will increase from $744m to north of $800m, up from preliminary forecasts in October of around $770m
