Thanks for that Wackjob. I'm not sure you have much credibility bagging PNG when your mob want a team in the lawless desert state capital of Darwin pal. I've got this hunch you don't like Rugby League lolololoolol!!!!

Great crowd in Darwin tonight and a fantastic win for the Suns who are now 2nd on the ladder. Wow 😮
21K over 2 games in Darwin for the fumbles & stumbles
thats about all they'll get if they had a team up there too ... 10K ish
just not enough people to sustain a team .... but about the only option for a code going..... nowhere
just below the average some well long established NRL teams get in there home land of Sydney. so not bad for a city of 150k plus :thumbleft:
I think the concern is would they being getting those crowds if a game was played every second weekend?

Neither sport is losing money. Both make more than enough and will for the long term future.

And one makes 30% more revenue than the other, has more assets than the other, gets more in media rights than the other. Who could that be.

yes the AFL governing body has the money to prop up its clubs that are far more expensive to run than a NRL club!
the NRLs governing body dot not have the money to prop up its clubs that are far cheaper to run than a AFL so they extract and rely on money from the tax payer
