Wookie is a wonderful online resource for data of all sorts.
Does cricket include International audiences? Like if Australia played India do they include rating figures in India? Or say if in the NRL do they include figures shown for NZ? Or is it just figures relating to people watching in Australia?
Figures in Australia Only Fred.
NRL did a Split for Australian Audiences and NZ Audiences

Cricket doesnt include them here, but we do know what the first couple of tests rated
The opening clash of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 between India and Australia shattered viewership records, firmly cementing its status as cricket’s toughest rivalry. The first Test in Perth engaged an astonishing 70.8 million viewers, achieving a staggering 8.6 billion minutes of watch-time on television. This marks a 76 per cent growth in reach and an extraordinary 160 per cent surge in engagement compared to the first Test during India’s 2020 tour of Australia.
With a remarkable 38 per cent increase in TV ratings, this thrilling contest now holds the distinction of being the highest-rated bilateral away Test since the inception of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) in 2015.
The thrilling day-night (D/N) Test at Adelaide between Australia and India captivated an incredible 49 million viewers, marking a 22% increase compared to the 2020 D/N Test between the two teams.
The first two Tests of the series have collectively reached 86 million viewers on television, a staggering 55% increase compared to the 2020 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Watch-time has surged to 12.8 billion minutes, reflecting a massive 75% growth over the previous edition. These unprecedented numbers underscore the immense popularity of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, widely regarded as the "toughest rivalry" in cricket.

715K for the Panthers V Sharks in Vegas yesterday on Ch 9 , solid considering these clubs are on the smaller side & last years game involving the Broncos got 796K
(1.530 Mill in total)
so around 1.4 million when STV is added for 2025..
no figures for the Raiders V Wahs game yet

as explained before for our dopey fumblers , & .. thats all of them
That 796K from 2024 included Brisbane , arguably the most watched NRL club there is
for 2 of the smallest Sydney NRL clubs to get 715K is a damn good result

So much hype with more games this season and yet tv ratings are down.
NRL Las Vegas 2025 FTA
SUNDAY AFTERNOON NRL LIVE -VEGAS OPENER Nine 1,627,000 715,000 81,000
NRL Las Vegas 2024 FTA
SUNDAY AFTERNOON NRL LIVE -VEGAS OPENER Nine 1,686,000 796,000 80,000
The standard of Women’s international RL and the scoreline of 90-4 was just embarrassing. Apparently the womens game will be dropped from next season.

I think the NRL would be pretty happy with 371K in the US for the Raiders V Warriors game
4th highest rating TV show on the night on Fox 1
numbers from the UK
Australia & New Zealand will put it well over the 2 million mark when its all done making it the most watched NRL club game in history

Are they good figures for the US market. Were they up or down based on last year - I am guessing up given they were reported to be quite poor last year.
