The mascot looks like it belongs on a float in the Gay Mardi Gras And they think the kids of Muslim & Islander parents are going to embrace a team like that lol..

We all agree the mascot is ghastly.
No amount of money will change people's opinion on this.
What is needed to take GWS to new heights is is a marketing reboot as many have stated.

Think of NRL Dolphins brilliant lovable mascot moniker, from a switched on marketing team. Credit where credit is due.

Giants moniker is a completely ineffective moniker from an incompetent marketing team who refuse to admit failure.

Back to the Lions Swans game, what a fantastic crowd, captured the hearts and minds of just about everyone ! Except a few posters here. !

bbutt , tell me ... are you aware they allow kids in for free to all their home games ?
a mate of mine & his mates went to one of the games in Canberra on free kids tickets & they're all in their 40's

they don't check the tickets
so you can be 14.. get in for free ... with a beard & a high paying job in the public service in Canberra at a midgets game

that & their games are heavily fudged in Sydney anyway
one day in Sydney they'll start counting these bearded 14 year olds heads ... not their legs
