A few of things:
Dolphins have done far better than I expected in their first year.
A better scheduling would have put their average attendance up,
Bit of a shame that the gabba is the ground for arguably their biggest game for the year, so far.
They are not, yet, already owning the lions, as the lions average attendance this year is, not by much, ahead of the dolphins.
I expect the average gap to increase for the lions…not by a lot…but the lions will have a higher average than the dolphins this year.
The Broncos are doing pretty good as well.
much delusion
they've past them like they were standing still
if the phins hadn't paid a game at Redcliffe & another on a thursday night , they'd be ahead on Average
The Broncs have played a couple of Thursday games too
they'd be even further ahead otherwise
more then 60K will watch their 2 games in Brisb this week including one on Thurs
just 54K watched the 2nd placed wions on FTA in Brisbane up against .... just... 54K
the Phins & Broncos would get 4 times that for a game on 9 & add the veiwers on PTV ..& we have 2 teams far more popular then the paddle pop wions
54K is embarrassing... just appalling
wions
3rd in Brisvegas , a distant 3rd
ahead of the reds & roar tho ... so yaaaayyyyy well done
Brisbane Lions vs Richmond Tigers 29/6/23 (Thats a Thursday and not a derby) 30,022.
Brisbane Broncos vs Dolphins 1/7/23 (Thats a Saturday and a derby) 30,606.
So on a typically poor (according to truthbomber) attendance night and against the derby that everyone in Brisbane has been lining up for, and on the best attending night, on the same ground NRL, gets 600 more attendees.
Yep thats definite evidence that the Lions and the AFL are standing still or even, heaven forbid, going backwards.
If this trend continues the Lions won't be a clear second, they will be closely threatening no 1 position.
Clearly threatening

Yeah they are both pretty poor crowds especially considering Richmond are very popular in the footy & Brisbane is Rugby League heartland & the Derby with the Dolphins had 7,000 empty seats. Not good enough for both codes.
Anyway at least the Lions & Broncos are both doing very well.

our fumbling mongs are up & about atm
jesus
they're dumbness knows no bounds
fact
20K extra seats available for the Brisbane Derby ( what would have been on offer at Suncorp)
every one of them would have gone .... weeks ago
fact
20K extra seats available for the paddle pop wions ..... not one more would have been sold
390K people watched the Brisbane Derby on STV ( wasn't on FTA) ... conservatively half would have been from Brisbane for an all Brisbane clash
195K
the paddle pop wions game ( on FTA) didn't even make the top 20 metro shows
the STV ratings .. were a gob smackingly pathetic 111K on foxtel & about 190K all up est with kayo added
barely any wions fans would have STV , all of their games are on FTA so its not needed
TV numbers in Brisb for this game for the wions
30K ... total
these are the figures
for anyone to suggest the wions will ever touch the Broncos , or the Phins for that matter
is the stuff of deluded bubble dwellers
hell , they're down there with the Titans
& thats being a bit rough on the Tits

“A few months ago” is the past. And as far as the dullphins are concerned, nearly all their past.

The NRL have scheduled what they believed to be the low attendance Dullphins games at Redcliffe.
They are home games and I will be counting them.
At the end of the season I might, might, show both figures.
But as I have said before, dont get too excited about the first years attendance, 3 years time will tell the story.
