I was going to ask what the numbers were at training as I would think this would be a good indicator of real support.

Well that does a bit of support. People don’t just rock up to straining session. Not a huge crowd but pleasantly surprised at the number there.

Apparently one of the Ginats board members is a school principal at Blacktown. She kindly donated a few bus loads of kids for a few hours to swell the crowd.
Interestingly the article also states, "it's been difficult to find much of grand final buzz in Sydney's west......not a soul could be seen in charcoal and orange in GWS supposed heartland of Blacktown".
