I think that it is an indication that the NRL can offer this to a sponsor knowing they will likely not sell them all. Do they do this for SoO? Let’s be real... if the nrl were confident of a sell out they would not offer this deal to a sponsor.

No I never said that... I said the AFL I don’t think would allow that in a sponsorship deal knowing the value of the tickets and they’d get a good crowd. They simply don’t need to nor would it be in their best interest. The NRL on the other hand know crowds are their strong point so cam offer this in a sponsorship deal. Don’t get me wrong most sponsorship deals have a component of contra and tickets being part of that. But a Two for one deal to their customers ???

Nearly every year the NRL has to heavily discount tickets to near nothing from their already bargain bin prices or even given several thousand away for the biggest game on their calander!

All this is another promotion to bell fill seats and help the usual struggle to do so!

I think there is a difference to sponsors having tickets to give away compared to a sponsor, as part of their sponsorship deal, having a two for one offer. Surely crapper even you can see the difference. Pussy that is really clutching at straws to compare the two. AFLcrap ... I’m surprised as even you usually don’t weigh in to posts so desperate or plainly wrong. At least you know when to be quiet.

The other promotions are one offs as oppose to being a Telstra customer and being able to go up and buy 2for one tickets1

The NRL giving away a truck load of tickets (what are the terms and conditions ... are there only a set amount available or is it open ended) through a two for 1 offer.... that is amazing for a Grand Final. You’d be lucky to buy a ticket to the AFL grand final let alone get one chucked in for free.

Learn the difference between entering a competition to win a grand final ticket as oppose to going and buying one and get one for free!

For the tickets prices take a look for your self the AFL tickets are next to twice as expensive as the nrlol ones and it sell out every year easily we’re as the nrlol needs to discount them and even give them away some years to fill the ground!

Last time the tigers were in the granny they had to set up a live site next door at punt road oval for all those (20k+) that couldn't get into the G. I expect the same this time round.
