Nrlol teams most have had long successful streaks over the years and none have come close!

Plus if you look in Melbourne and the Minnowbourne Storm! They have been as successful if not more so & only average about half of what the swans do!

what utter garbage. COLA may be a reason behind the swans consistent finals appearances, but as the storm show, on field success is no guarantee of good crowds

What your saying is due to the swans success is why they average 30 odd k

Some nrlol clubs over the past 90 odd years will have had some golden period of success similar to the swans including the Minnowbourne Storm!

But best effort achieved was to only average less that half the swans

It’s called two different products one a dog shit boring game in league and other entertaining in AFL!

Success is a reason but it doesnt alwasy guarantee bigger crowds. In fact the swans are struggling this year and still well ahead of EVERY NRL club is Sydney, so clearly it isnt the only factor


In fact sustained success loses it's ability to draw crowds because fans get complacent. "seen it all before".

Brisbane is a different world entirely to Sydney!
Brisbane are a bandwagon city and is proven with roar, reds, broncos and lions
Broncos have only mist the finals 2 or 3 times hence their constant good crowd but proven loose a few games and the crowds drop away fast

The lions have been crap since 2004 and only recently started winning a few game and selling out the Gabba again!

Now back to the swans!

Cola or not the swans have been successful yes
But in the 90 odd years of league teams have had successful periods and none have even come close to what the swans have with crowds!

The Minnowbourne Storm have had just as much success as the swans and still the most minnow team in Melbourne
