Alot of Rugby League fans like points scored in R.L games..

6-0 or 10-4 is not all fans cup of tea...

a Low Scoring game also affects broadcasters too..
as there is not much advertising opportunities..

Pretty sure games today are much higher scoring that 20-30 years ago.

you can get caught with the ball in RL and still retain possession. Not in AFL

Anyone looking forward to this weeks saturday AFL games? The org is on a real roll at the mo, six days straight if uncompetitivw garbage matches. I think they’ve got three matches on sat.

Anyone care to wager that at least 2 out of the 3 won’t be utter snore Fests?

A league ball is bigger than an AFL ball and is more wider!
A rubber ball is easier and lighter than a leather ball to catch especially when their is no moisture or due on the ball! And much more difficult to catch from a kick 15 to 60 meters away with an opponent punching the ball away as to jogging next to your team mate and receiving a 6 meter throw and opponent 5 meters in front of you!

And yes tap ons happen regularly in league
