Setting up a team in Perth, will be alot easier than Melbourne..
Games taken there over the past 10 years have all been well attended..
there is a good RUGBY following..
(again to the educated.. Perth Reds did not fail. they were victim of a law suit..)
Tood Greenberg will be mentioning the NRL's Expansion Plan in approx December of this year
It will happen, the NRL will Grant Perth a License and 2nd License will be granted somewhere in QLD>.
the Dates will be for next broadcast deal for entry into league.
I am confident this will happen.

Perth has expanded in population dramatically, with many coming from eastern states. You'd think there'd be enough RL fans support their preferred code through a local team, especially when 10-15k is an acceptable crowd for NRL

Well if Rugby League can set up a team in Canada where Gridiron and Ice Hockey is entrenched. A team in Perth can definitely be done.
Not only that, there are plans for a second professional Canadian rugby league side to be set up.

All the AFL loonies are having a melt down at rugby leagues growth.
They all said Canada would never happen but look, now a second team is planned.
Now with talk of the NRL expanding again too, really makes them jealous lol..

Yep when it happens in Perth it won't be because the ARLC compromised the comp onfield
The team will have to look after itself ..same salary cap .no gifting talent to them .
Won't send some geriatric senile old fuck over there to disparage the locals .
