if your looking at a battleground where it is it's strongest, it would Be Auckland..

rugby league does well there..

it does point to the Auckland Blues and the Warriors..

warriors are ahead, regards to viewership and crowds.

rugby league is def getting a stronger in NZ but it want win the war
at least for another 30 years if things do change

but Auckand is only 1/3 of NZ

Funny that where league Is remotely popular over seas it’s older brother union is as well!

Rugby Being the older of the code, was introduced decades before...

league coming in later with the breakaway from Rugby in England to northern Rugby.
before being played in France NZ PNG pacfic and australia to name a few where it is strong.

Where as AFL still cannot crack it there.

AFL gives away the Tv Deal to the networks in NZ and still no one watches..

Only fumblefans thought that AFL was a chance in NZ

& maybe aflhouse crunched the numbers & investing in catering tents in China is a far better financial proposition .
