If this was the AFL , a little bit of hush money and this would go away. Like that girl in the back of the Taxi a few years back. The players were celebrating after a GF win at the time, so I guess she had it coming
Fortunately the NRL have a few more morals. If Hayne is found guilty his careers will be over.
Hmm Coffs Harbour and Canterbury Bulldogs must be such a proud bit of history for the NRL and you hypocrites
Hmmm. The Bulldogs were unequivocally found to have no case to answer by the Police detective in charge of the case ya dill!?? Zero comparison to an as yet untried case. Try to do better.
Hmmm, so unequivocally nothing happened then...

Yep apparently so
According to leaguies, if it’s the AFL it’s hush, hush... police cover up... blah, blah, blah, whilst in the NRL well...

Well show some evidence then Bea instead of bitching .
It's well documented that AFL have used hush money .
I cant find any evidence of the NRl doing that..
& the nrl let the police do their work without interference .
We don't do deals with the police to keep things quiet .
We don't have the boss come out & say paying hush money is fine .
We don't have police "losing " evidence in cases .....lol especially when they are members of the same club as the accused .
So quit your bitching & post some FACTS for a change .

No pal. It was according to the DPP who ruled no charges should be laid after the Det Sgt came to the same conclusion.
https://www.coffscoastadvocate.com.au/n ... l/2812809/
And here is what the Det said:
"The evidence indicated the woman had fabricated this complaint of gang rape and was fully supporting the evidence provided by the Bulldogs players."
This matter was investigated by Police with full cooperation by the NRL and the Bulldogs. The AFL on the other hand, on the admission of Gilty himself, pay hush money so no investigation is ever done.
It's pretty simple pal. The NRL doesn't cover up violence and intimidation against women.....the AFL does!!!!

the MOU between the AFL and police was to keep cases out of the media circus, not to change the outcome of justice

that's not exactly what he said. He said if there was a confidential agreement reached between two parties over an issue he wasnt opposed to it remaining confidential if that was within the terms of the agreement. If the complainant wasn't happy with those terms then it wouldnt remain confidential. Makes perfect sense as the ball is in the complainant's court
