Ahh let’s be fukkin honest now. The majority of the time the Gold Coast Titans field a team that puts on some sort of competitive display. Meanwhile the majority of times the thuns field a team they puts on a display that resembles a bunch of third rate slow unco tools vs a professional outfit. Loss for loss both teams put on a very different competitive performance on the field.

The problem is that the Melbourne clubs could not care less about sustained long term growth of Australian rules football in Queensland. They also don't care about taking the game to the next level in Tasmania and the northern territory. They don't care about what is best for the code only what is best for themselves. These arrogant greedy clubs are quite prepared to poach the best promising gold coast sun's players and leave the club bleeding, this has been happening for a few years.
To watch the players of Melbourne clubs celebrate, sing and gloat after thrashing the sun's is just sickening.
The administration of gold coast sun's have performed well in the circumstances, the problem lies with an indifferent and incompetent man devoid of solutions, enter Gil maglockerlin, he needs to step up and forward not stumble backwards.

true point though>> That is why the NRL has been held back for years.
with NSW clubs>>

Things are slowly changing, and the NRL is looking outside of NSW..

(the Suns oh dear lord.) this is absolute disaster..

i do look forward to the next financials from the 2018 season..

2017 was around 24 million

If North had of gone up there, they would have stood a chance. Same with GWS.
I don't know which other team could have relocated but it would've been far better for the comp.

I think if North had went there it still would of been tough job..
but it would of been a better set up exactly the same as the Swans & South Melb

with support in Melbourne and boosting membership
they would of been better of financially

(not too sure if tv figures would be higher> as they are at shocking lows.) for QLD AFL

well the AFL pushed very hard for it to happen... now they are faced with another Vietnam style cash flogging
