Looking forward to it!
The expansion is tracking nicely.
Compared to the cheap skates at the National Flogby League hq who's total idea of expansion is selling games to the outback.
The AFL actually invest in this game.
How many country towns will have the "honour" of hosting Flogby this year?
And at what price?
The inevitable town wide IQ lowering is a pretty high one that probably takes the cake.
The National Flogby League really don't like spending money do they?
Prefer to pillage it seems.
Then there is the "Super Saturday double headers".
The dead set lamest attempt to get a decent crowd I've ever seen, we all see through the "hype". Even the leaguers do, though they'll never admit it.
Pity they don't count in tallies as double at the end of the year.
And how much $$$ do they save booking one venue for two games?
Then still have the cheek to sell off some of the better seats to advertiser's.
There's a definate pattern here.
Spend as little as possible, maximise advertiser's exposure and fuck the supporters.
It seems to me people are getting sick of it.
The 3rd grade Flogby being regurgitated by the National Flogby League on a weekly basis ain't cutting it anymore.
Luckily there's another domestic comp that is going places.
Premier competition footy every week.
Not just once a year.
I'm pretty sure your definition of expansion is laughable .
Playing a game in China is not expanding .
Putting a team there is .

I'm pretty sure you have the same Ultra narrow view of expansion as the National Flogby League.
It would be incredibly stupid to put a team the yet.
This project is in its infancy.
It took 20 years for the Swans to take over Sydney.
Build interest and grass roots, plenty of exhibitions, this is a slow burn Crap.
We're in for the long haul.
A concept that eludes the National Flogby League.

Oh dear.
RL is king in Syd by a long way .

In fact I could name one RL game that gets about 10 times the ratings of a swans game
& double their crowd .
Lol get off off the drugs .

Perseverance in developing and promoting aussie rules in China will spark widespread appeal in years to come.
Rugby league in the USA is on a road to nowhere.

One game! On one day!
Vs
Eleven games in six months plus possible finals.
Should we look at those numbers?
See how the battle for Sydney really stands?
From a business perspective one term accurately defines the Swans in Sydney......
Very successful!
The most imo.

Lol read that .
The usual look at us look at us bullshit .
Lol the world takeover stalled badly in NZ
So let's forget that & move onto another uninterested country .
Lol
This is so similar to the usual hilarious comedy that the fumble media write
Taking on QLD SOO team
AFL player could match Usain BOLT at the Olympics .
Make a sokka team from AFL players to take on the sokka World Cup .
Etc etc
The pathetic cries for attention are hilarious .

Yep lololololololol. As for a 'sell out': of course it will be.......even if it's not lolololololol. This is the AFL we're talking about - not some honest, credible organisation. (See last years sell out lololool & Grant Thomas' admission).
It'll be just like the ratings. They've predicted the highest rating game in history - 9M lololololololololol. And you watch.....as sure as night follow's day they will announce ratings of......yep.....9M lolololololololol. There will be no sources, no proof, no accountability. Yep. AFL propaganda 101.

lol those Chinese tv figures are so laughable! and I cannot believe parts of the media reported that.
if it were the case, in which is not.. you would play the whole round of AFL there>
it would = 10 rounds of tv figures in Australia and a cash bonanza $$$ of coin
Collingwood / Eddie would be lining up to play in China.

Forget shares
Forget real estate
Forget investment anywhere
The REAL MONEY is to be made setting up a food stall out the back of the China AFL game
Charge what you want because there's 5000 hungry customers who want food not FOOODY .
