So, thus far from the AFL persuasion we have utter ignorant denial (NRL crap) deathly silence (nlol) and a wish that this thread will just go away (beaussie)

I'm not surprised. Attitudes like this simply provide the conditions for racism to perpetuate

Given I just posted 3 indigenous dance celebrations that were met with applause, what does that tell you about why Goodes was booed? I'm sure even you're smart enough to figure it out.

FMD you're dense. I've shown it had nothing to do with the war dance highlighted by the fact multiple players have also acted the same and none were booed.

I can name multiple AFL players who have taken a stand against racism, and none of them were treated like Goodes. What does that do to your theory?

We all know there's not been one Aboriginal playing AFL player who had the elevated social status as Adam Goodes. We all know there's not been another Aboriginal playing AFL player who has taken anywhere as strong a stance against racism. Hence the racists stood up, and booed him out of the game. And there were thousands upon thousands of them.

It is disgusting to watch nlol try to mislead the public and ignore these facts. Shameful stuff

Cue nlol attempt to trash goodes name further by claiming he was a dirty player and that's why he was booed.

Goodes was voted best and fairest several times for the swans. Research his frees against and you'll see he was barely penalised more than any other player.

And then there's the timing of the mass booing of Goodes. There was no major foul play incident that could have incited such booing. Nup, but there was a strong stand against racism followed by a war dance during indigenous round.

Standing against racism and expressing a culture other than white Anglo will result in mass booing from AFL crowds. There's thousands and thousands of racists in each and every AFL crowd. It's prob about 15-40% deadest racists.
