Abs, erass do regular collection of stats every few years and it’s all for the public to see.

Pick the common trend from them over the years

Less people playing league

When it comes to crowd figures the stadiums can & have shown figures to be wrong in RL
But not since smith addressed it .
At least it was admitted in RL that they were wrong .
