I don't think it's about being a one trick pony. Australian Rules is Australia's game. If other nations don't like it, choose not to play it etc. why should we give it up. Their loss in my book. The days of the cultural cringe are long behind us; we need not care what others think of a sport we love... whether it be a group of people playing an insecure game down the park or whether it is our national past time. It's Australia's game, others can choose to like or not at their will however this does not impact my enjoyment, or that of millions of others, one iota.


The China game ... not about crowds or following ... about sponsorship which is what it achieved.
