Lol

Changing from an oval to a round ball is as big a change as you could make. All the kicking and handballing techniques go out thw window when the ball responds completely differently. The irish have a life time learning these skills, the aussies mere weeks. Thats the difference right there.

As for the irish being more physical, that couldnt be more incorrect. Every series the irish complain the aussies are too physical.

Give the Irish a Sherrin, see how they go.

Most AFL fans aren't a huge fan of this Hybrid game anyway. I mean lets pick up a soccer ball and start kicking it...wtf

Former Western Bulldog Lindsay Gilbee was the recipient of a knee to the head in the opening Test, leading to some extra spite in the second match at Croke Park where the Australian side flexed its muscle.

That didn’t go well with the locals, who hit out at the tourists following the second Test, a Danyle Pearce ‘sling tackle’ early in the match setting the tone for the Aussie’s intent.

“If you wanna box, say you wanna box and we’ll box. If you wanna play football, say you wanna play football and we’ll play football,” McGeeney said after the match.

Irish coach Sean Boylan was equally critical of Australia following the match and series, which Australia won on aggregate.

“Don’t give me that as sportsmanship, don’t give me that as trying to promote a series.

“Don’t give me that, that’s thuggery, and that’s all that it is.”

Brown, meanwhile, obviously had a long memory when it came to the Irish, and perhaps that bump.

While always playing his football on the edge, the aggressor was at it again just two years later when the Irish visited our shores.

He was sent from the field for a bruising bump on Irishman Finian Hanley midway through the final term of a 2008 Test at Subiaco, leaving the Aussies a man down.

 are you for real? :(/

Seriously the skills are very similar, almost bloody identical in fact. I've played both codes. Getting the hang of the circle ball takes a few hours.

Please nlol, comment on things you understand in future.

Thanks bro :D:

That Pretty much says about 1 player Campbell brown.. put on some hip and shoulder moves.
(which he got Yellow carded for )

and it also says it was Thuggery.. so not within the game rules.

Knees to head by an IRISH player triggered some foul play in that tournament..
in what was 11 years ago.

you cant drop punt a soccer ball like an AFL ball you moron. Even the gaelic kick for goal using a kick around their body, not straight forward like a drop punt. The skills are completely different because the ball is completely different

Watch this video and you tell which player kicks a drop punt...They are all kicks around their body from the instep of the foot. You literally have no fucking clue
