Lol you talk about ignore ..when I asked you to show where any RL fan has hysterically posted with bitterness & jealousy about the AFL pay deal .

Why post shit that's blatantly untrue .
Why post when you can't show where anything Is posted like you
Claimed .

As for Fred's post .
Grass roots in Rl is doing fine or doing terrible according to who you listen to .
You don't get a decent pic from the unfavourable RL media .
ARLC say they're putting plenty of $$$$$ into Grassroots.
Who do you believe .
The media have headlines over clubs disappearing yet don't have the same headlines
over new clubs starting up .they have headlines over teams not playing in comps anymore yet hide the fact down the page that the team has joined another comp nearby .

You read how great AFL grassroots are going .
Yet these numbers are well over inflated by adding AUSkick participants .

Rl is doing fine ..we have plenty of women's teams ( you wouldn't know it ..as our media don't portray RL as leading the way in women in sport like the VIC media did with WAFL)
We have touch with hundreds of 1000s of players ..most don't go on to play full contact but it's still a pathway & still RL

Me thinks you buy into the AFL propaganda a bit too much .ive read plenty on different forums how Country AFL teams are neglected ..how teams are disappearing yet you won't see that in the compliant AFL media

I was asking you to comment on given AFL already look after grass roots and other areas of the game are in good shape ... then would it not be okay to reward players ?

Read above Fred .
It depends on who you listen to
Who has an agenda .

A country team official in either code will claim the clubs are dying because the powers that be are too focused on the main comp
Paying too much money to the top level .
The sports bosses will claim everything is fine
That plenty of money is going to grass roots .

So who do you believe .
You seem to take everything that AFL house say as gospel .

Grassroots is fine .
Well maybe it is .
Maybe it isn't .
But finding the truth is near impossible

I think with growing junior numbers (excluding Auskick) and a growing club numbers (e.g western Sydney) the game is in good shape. They put a lot of money into growing and developing the game.

Given that the nrlol is surviving off borrowed money at the moment, I doubt there will be much of a salary cap increase

My 8 year old starts tonight after school pestering us to do it with her friends. 75 bucks for several weeks gets a footy, lunch box and drink bottle. Also a family ticket to a game.

Great value! great program for the kids, If I get a kid I would throw him/her into auskick, but the wife wants them to play soccer
