Really? I thought there was significant income from gate receipts and merchandise ... as well as tv rights distribution.


Loans and business. I think I kind of explained this before. As long as you have revenue coming in nothing wrong with loans ... as long as it is on infrastructure that produces output. So Essendon, massive loan to build their new training facility. That's cool and impacts profit ... but you are improving the brand as hopefully have better players, more wins etc. any business that does not upgrade regularly will fail. Whether it be a new computer system, investing in training of staff, upskilling staff too... and even a coat of paint.....


Loans to say pay legal bills ...that's bad ... so you eat into funds to cover.

Think membership and gate takings are no where near the revenue stream it is for AFL clubs but thought the nrl merchandise was quite good for nrl but that may include soo. God knows every red necked bogan seems to have an nrl gurnsey on around here ... not too many titans ones though but plenty of other clubs.
