I see the problem with beaussie now. He is so used to the rigged AFL competition where even before the season starts he expects the FFA to know which two teams will be the top of the table in round 10 of the upcoming season, and then move games as such. As for the question as has been explained to you countless fecking times. Wanderers 18,000 members, Penrith and Campbelltown are unable to accommodate that number of seated members. So do you fucking understand why now? Or do you need it broken down for you further like a fucking 2 year old.

Why then was Campbelltown Stadium, Penrith Stadium and even Leichhardt Oval and Belmore Oval put to Wanderers members as an option for games if as you say it was all about having to accommodate seated members? The member survey and comment from the club regarding looking at all options outlined below proves my point and shows you up as the liar you are.

On Tuesday, members received an email and survey on their preferred choice of six venues to become their temporary new home. Campbelltown Stadium, ANZ Stadium, Sydney Showground at Olympic Park, Leichhardt Oval, Belmore Oval and Pepper Stadium in Penrith were put forward. Indicative of the possibility of the Wanderers playing out of multiple venues, the club also asked its members to suggest how many venues they would be prepared to call home throughout the period.

A club spokesman confirmed the Wanderers are looking at all options and received more than 2,500 responses from members in the first day.

They were put to the members because that's what a member based club does you idiot, they wanted to see where the preference was. If the members chose Penrith then some decisions would have needed to be made. ie LIMIT membership, BUILD temporary stands etc etc.

FYI, BBL playing at spotless requires the movement on 1 January, their was a concert there on Saturday requiring the movement for Victory. Sydney Derby required the movement because unlike the AFL there interest in the Sydney derby requires a bigger seating capacity. So that's 4 of the 5, not sure on the last.

So by your logic it is unlikely that the Wanderers will grow their base by 6500 people in 30 years (life of stadium without upgrades etc)

Right, so based on you logic, the SCG needs an immediate upgrade to capacity. The Swans after all have over 56,000 members (unlike the Wanderers more members than capacity of stadium), many more corporate supporters, capacity required for a much bigger travelling AFL fan base, along with the need for seating availability for walk ups and future growth in memberships for not only Australia's premier winter code - but Australia's premier summer code... cricket.

Premier Baird get the cheque book out. We need a much bigger SCG now based on post_hoc's clearly flawless logic expressed here regarding the Wanderers and the need for increased capacity, despite not being able to meet that capacity requirement yet.
