Part of it is probably AFL too. A
lot of Swans fans are ex rugby fans. As well as AFLs push into private Schools.

Seriously what planet are you on ?
You are the only idiot who I've ever seen make the claim that the SL war was good for RL .
Can you show where .
I've asked before but you won't post an answer.

FFS your a moron, it would have been the answer you didn't want to hear or believe in so you would just have called lies lies to it!
two media tycoons whoring the crap out of league in every news publication they owned &could get their hands on!
league wasn't going anywhere before SL wars, nothing but the saturday after noon game on the TV with pathetic crowds post SL it isnt going anywhere either
all you do is hve to look at the money revenue from out side of the media deals that SL wars help create.
they are pathetic when compared to the AFL, its on the levels closer to the a league

Lol
You really have NFI .
When you divide something & create animosity ..
Both sides lose .
Yet you think it did wonders .lol
Oh my
There doesn't seem to be anything credible to back up your rants .
& oh my
You say RL was going no where just before the SL war
4 new teams were introduce to the comp in 95
NQ
PERTH
AUCKLAND
BRIS2
Try some research before you get shown up as a liar or an uniformed tool
OR BOTH
So according to your very very fucked up logic .
Expanding means not going anywhere
Lol thanks for that .
I'll remind you every time you mention any Non heartland AFL team .
Lol
It's like shooting dumb docile fish in a barrel .

Haha so are you merging two sports now are you?
Not too bright are you.

=D> =D>
That is like saying footy is all one sport.
Private school boys would'nt be seen dead playing league. Are too toffee for the working class sport.
But AFL being a rich white mans sport in Sydney suits the Union crowd perfectly.

all you loons have is but buts in why the NRLOL hasn't progressed very far & you'll still be dribbling on about it in decades to come
the SL
it created the divide then united in the end! during the whole time it it gave the game of league promotion money couldn't buy! the game was noting more than a suburban comp with the with a saturday after noon game on TV.
it brought news ltd and all their publications in to he game & they whored the game out at every chance possible to promote their product
look at the finances of the clubs and non broadcast revenue compare them to the AFL! its revenue out side of the dv dollar is a joke that next to the A league standard

Nice rant .but as usual you're deflecting .
You said it was going nowhere .
I posted where the year before the comp had. Added 4 new teams .
Perth
Auckland
Bris 2
NQ
Describe how that is going nowhere
Describe how that is a suburban NSW comp .
Try to do that without a deflective rant .

Bump . Stop running Gilligan
Explain how RL was going nowhere .
Your logic is if AFL expands its going great .
Yet in 95 RL expanded .added 4 teams .
But that's going nowhere .
Adding teams in Perth
NQ
Auckland is just a NSW club comp .
Lol
Whatever drugs you're on
They're great mind altering substances
Can you explain this please .

RL expansion has been totally embarrassing. How do you call it expansion when Adelaide and Perth are booted out within a few years of their establishment? What a joke.
National Rugby League lol
Anyway that aside, Rugby must have major worries from a proposed breakaway Comp to the embarrassment that is the Wallabies. Never hear any talk of the Waratahs anymore either. Gee whiz, the code has gone downhill in a massive way since the highs of the Rugby World Cup held in Australia.

& what the fuck has that got to do with the claim that RL was going nowhere before the SL war?
I've posted where there were 4 teams added in 95 before the war .
I never mentioned Adelaide .
What is wrong with you fumblers .
Deflect deflect deflect .
A claim was made .
I've asked for something to back that up .
I'm still waiting .

In traditional AFL states it's not. But in Sydney, the Swans fanbase is concentrated in wealthy white anglo areas where Union was once popular. Randwick, Centinial Park.
And of course the large homosexual community in Paddington who are very well off too. Who never used to even follow a sport till AFL arrived.
Mate I'll bet you anything that is the bulk of the Swans fanbase. Try proving me wrong loser.
