Re: What a great night
Victorians will watch any major sporting event in numbers. When australia plays in a qualifier in the soccer, soo, aust tennis open, moto gp etc. Does not mean they love the sport. I am not surprised they tuned into the nrl grand final with the storm in it.
It will be a good comparison though to see if any growth since last time for both sides.
The gws dogs game was a ripper. I suspect any fair weather supporters will be more involved next year.

If that was a ripper game Fred I'd hate to see a shocker. How many set shots did the dills miss from right in front??? Hopeless!!!!!! The way these simpletons miss set shots at goal is a national embarrassment.

Re: What a great night
i must admit it was a hell of a match you practically did not know who was going to win till the last secondFred wrote:I also think there was a strong gws prsence there too. If it was a majority it would be just.. 51 percent maybe but certainly a lot of organge there and a vocal giants crowd.
But what a game. There would have been people there for their first game who will be hooked. AFL could not have aaked for more.
I am going sydney next week and storm.
The nrl will also be happy with storm in. Ratingd will be interesting.
