Is even better that you can go to a lot of other countries and people actually know what Rugby League is, unlike AFL.

I guess you can stream the nrl these days. Not on radio i dont think across the country.

I was surprised to turn on the local abc here and haf the AFL game on... not a qld team either and the broadcaster was giving advice to those tuning in to catch the nrl game on at the same time of where they could find it including digital radio or to try abc for nothern nsw if they could get it. But there is one significant difference the AFL doesn't ABANDON clubs like RL has a history of doing - Western Reds, SthQLD Crushers, GC Seagulls, Nth Sydney heck Sth Sydney too they had to fight tooth and nail through the courts to get back in! 2SM has a daily afternoon shows which focuses mainly on Rugby League as well as on weekends too.
2UE also has a Rugby League show.
