To be honest my opinion is falou was no good at all. Hunt had a few good games but i think he also put the work in.
Goes to show how smart you are Fred. The great Kelvin Shedley said Folau was one of the best he's ever seen!!!!!!! How many fumbleball comp. winners have you coached Freddy lololololololol

Their pay was mainly paid by the AFL as a marketing componant. As said hunt was serviceable but falou did struggle and would not have got a game in the seconds. He was in a team where they were all learning and winning was not the aim but developnent. Hunt though did okay however he would be one of those guys that would be good at any sport he put his mind to.

they were simple promotional tools, didnt the AFL even pay their wages or some of them?
they were leagues finest!
if they were pin pointed other than promotional tools or experimental tools they would have been used in one of the drafts, nation, preseason or rookie drafts..

they turned out unco failures

Funny how no other code ever wants to even offer AFL players to switch codes.

Too gangly and can't catch. =D> =D>

Who says they haven't? Just because you weren't told doesn't mean it hasn't happened - but the fact a WCE player Adrian Barich was given a contract makes your whole statement nonsense!

When has NRL ever blatantly tried to pinch players from AFL clubs? There is no need, we know they would'nt last playing a tougher game. None have ever even made 1st grade NRL.

But AFL has tried to pinch loads of NRL players.

The Essendon Bombers were after Darren Lockyer, Greg Inglis.

GWS tried to poach Johnathon Thurston too.

You see this more than proves AFL realises the talents Rugby League players have.

I say because I know. Show me an AFL player that has played NRL first grade?

Adrian Barich played one trial game and got dropped to reserves in Rugby League.

So is actually you that have no idea.
Really shows how hard first grade NRL is to make.

Did he play for the club or not who mentioned grade you said no AFL player would be wanted - correct me if I'm wrong but playing in reserve grade would indicate he WAS wanted before he played FFS stop wriggling and man up and admit you were wrong!

I love getting my regular dose of comedy from this dill lololololol. This nong is like one of those poor Jap soldiers after WW2 - staggering around the jungle still fighting the war long after they've been smashed, bloodied and beaten. On Folau and Hunt the war is lost my friend - Kelvin Shedley sealed the deal - throw up the white flag loonie and stop embarrassing yaself lololololol.....dill!!!

simple answer. The NRL dont value national expansion so why would they bother attracting players from a rival code for promotion? They know they'll fail at it yet again

So you would count a player who switches codes and left in reserve grade for their whole career successful?

Read that to yourself and it might catch on to you how silly that actually sounds =D>
