So no other responses to the points raised, or have you raised the white flag already?

You are very deluded, you obviously believe the things you do to in someway make your own pitiful existence bearable.Mal wrote:Thank you everyone for your kind words and contributing to my thread. I'm sure if they can find the courage to take a peek over the parapet they will see a whole new world out there that doesn't include maniacal devotion to RabbleFL. You can break free.......courage people .....courage!!! The great burghers of Sydney have shown you the way.

your regional ratings arent equal to your metros so your claim is wrong. Sydney teams would have the majority of their followers in Sydney, not in the countryParraEelsNRL wrote:Half our fan base lives miles away from the cities in the bush hence why regional ratings are so high, never mind, tried telling a vfl zealot this a decade ago, still hasn't sunk in and the lies continue to flow forth.
But but but, so basically the crowds reflect of the nrlol true popularity in Sydney?ParraEelsNRL wrote:Half our fan base lives miles away from the cities in the bush hence why regional ratings are so high, never mind, tried telling a vfl zealot this a decade ago, still hasn't sunk in and the lies continue to flow forth.
so the NRLOL is even less popular in the bush? after you claimed half their fans are in the countryParraEelsNRL wrote:That's cause the city has more people you fool.
1.leeroy*NRL* wrote:1. If this is the case why does Perth also average over double the NRL crowds, and Adelaide almost 3 times?>
because perth and Adelaide don't have much else either lol
2. If NRL crowds are so low because there's so much more to do in Sydney than Melbourne, why do the swans also average double the NRLs crowds?>
Swans Average well because there is only 11 Games a Season.
3. If there's so much more to do in Sydney compared to Melbourne wouldnt this also translate to lower ratings in Sydney because people would be out enjoying these things rather than watching the NRL on TV? Or by 'so much more to do' do you pretty much mean watching TV
People are out enjoying them selfs..
look at Sydney's traffic on Saturday and sundays..
it is worst than peak hour

So pissycat what entertainment can you do in Sydney thant you cannot do on Melbourne?pussycat wrote:Melbourne are a city starved of entertainment! a very bleak city with nothing to do but attend football matches . Whether it be Cricket , Soccer , AFL or Rugby League they'll be there. The supposed heartland of The AFL cult, and a Soccer match draws the largest crowd. The only AFL game that could draw a bigger crowd than a Rugby League match was the AFL Grand Final. A presentation is Melbourne biggest sporting moment, and the naming of the pretend Australian team and the awarding of the Dufus medal aren't far behind that.

I think your 3rd point is most prob the most valid - I would say public transport in Melb really is the greatest advantage in going to games - stops just 100 - 200 m from MCG and Edihad.
