1 Adelaide is a crap hole & avoid that place at all costs, Perth is by far the best city in Australia with the best weather all year around! so much to do, great night life!

A presentation is Melbourne biggest sporting moment, and the naming of the pretend Australian team and the awarding of the Dufus medal aren't far behind that.

I think your 3rd point is most prob the most valid - I would say public transport in Melb really is the greatest advantage in going to games - stops just 100 - 200 m from MCG and Edihad.
