it takes around $20 million to run an NRLOL team around half of their operating revenue comes from the NRLOL distribution money, they still need extra money pumped in to them by the NRLOL, leagues clubs and owners

If a RL club loses money then if they have a leagues club backing the loss is covered .

eg from sponsorship, memberships, gate takings etc
