How the hell is it a good crowd for the Titans? Brisbane is 1 hour down the road
Because theyve been an abortion..on & off the field for the last 4 yrs .
They are finally getting their act together & if they keep playing the way they have crowds will increase .
Yet Freo gets 1
40 odd against the GC so there goes ur argument!

There you go folks 1 AFL game = 5 NRL games. How disappointing this must be - like Smith only said last year that they were aiming for 20k and they have gone backwards! How disappointing!

AFL average for this round 35,675 NRL average - 14460. Says it all really, losing in memberships
, crowds, Rv ratings. Not even 2nd place!!!

Ive got a feeling this is going to be a good year for the AFL. A lot of the bottom teams have improved while some of the top teams have dropped off, making for a more even comp. Some minor rule changes have also improved the game style quite dramatically so far.

I wonder if a Rugby League match will pull a bigger crowd in Melbourne this year than any of there pre-season matches, any of there regular season matches and any of there semi final matches.
RL

most popular sport in Australia, 3rd most popular sport in the world and soon to be the most popular sport in Melbourne.

your imagination doesnt count as evidence. AFL have the highest rating game of the weekend, after having the highest rating game last weekend, They have the largest crowd this weekend, and the 2nd, and the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th, the 6th, and the 7th. They have almost 3 times more members, more TV revenue, and far far more non-media revenue...So, what were you saying?
RL popular in Melbourne.....

Is that based on the 11k at the storm yesterday, lower than every AFL game this year, or the 12k ratings in Melbourne last night, lower than any AFL ratings this year?
You are the stupidest poster on this forum, and that's quite an achievement :_<>

Well with all the AFL games completed their average for the round is over 39,000. Well up on 2015, and the NRL with 1 game to go have only had 98114 for 7 games and an average of only 14016 over a 1000 down on their h & a from 2015!! So much for 20,000 eh Dave Smith!!!!
